The program will run for 4 weeks, Monday through Friday, June 3-28. Students may earn credits through summer school to assist them in graduating with their classmates. Students will take classes to make up for classes not passed.

Students will be expected to attend summer school daily. Attendance is tracked on Infinite Campus. Make sure you are signed up for student portal or parent portal to track attendance.

Summer school is voluntary, not mandatory. If a student does not come or does not work while in summer school, the student may be dropped from the program and/or told to go home. Once credits are completed, the students are done attending summer school.

Lunch is not provided at the high school. Students may bring lunch with them, they may leave for lunch, or if available, they may participate in the free lunch program that is provided at Westside Elementary.

Competency Completion: Max credits 2
If students have earned seat time by attending a class but did not pass the class, they may take up to 4 semesters of classes during the summer school session.
ALL CLASSES TAKEN NEED TO BE APPROVED BY THE PRINCIPAL OR GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT BY THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR (May 16, 2024). ANY SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCE WILL BE DEALT WITH AT THE ADMINISTRATIVE LEVEL.

All grades and documentation of hours and work will be submitted to the office by July 5, 2024, to allow for necessary time to process the grades and reschedule students for the following school year.
