What is Rooms?
Sisseton School District (Sisseton K12) has implemented a new communication tool called "Rooms". This unified communication system is for students, parents and guardians to communicate with their child's teachers. Rooms is accessible through the Sisseton School District's Sisseton K12 app.

Students should follow the instructions below to get connected with "Rooms".
First, download the Sisseton K12 App.
For Android | For iPhone
Next, open the Sisseton K12 app, click on the Room button (lower right-hand corner), Sign in to Rooms using your Google K12 account (email & password).

Can I communicate with my teachers using a web browser (like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge? I would rather use a computer.
YES, go to edurooms.com on a web browser (Chrome or Edge). On the Sign in page, locate "Log in with Google", use your K12 Google account (email & password)
Parents & Guardians ......How do I get started with Rooms ?
There are (2) ways to get connected.
(1) - If you requested a guardian invite (magic code) from your child's school - please follow the steps under the heading "Getting Started with a Guardian Invite (Magic Code) from the Teacher".
(2) - If you received an email invite, please follow the steps under the heading - "Getting Started with an Email Invite".

"Getting Started using a Guardian Invite (Magic Code) from the Teacher"
If you believe you did not receive an email invite, you can request a "Guardian Invite - Magic Code" from your child's school (office or teacher). You can also send an email to sissetontechhelp@k12.sd.us and they will be able to provide you with the information you need to get started.
Once you received the Magic Code , you will be able to follow the steps below to connect with your child's account.
Step 1: Go to id.edurooms.com/signup
Step 2: Enter the Magic Code to link your student. Each child has an unique code.
Step 3: Fill out the form to finish setting up your account.
Step 4: Download the Sisseton K12 App.

"Getting Started with an Email Invite"
Step 1: Download the Sisseton K12 App.

Step 2: Check your email inbox for an email from @edurooms.com. Click “Create a password” in the email to connect your account with your student. *If you believe you did not receive an email, contact your child's school for "Guardian Invite - Magic Code" or send an email to sissetontechhelp@k12.sd.us.
Step 3: Finish your registration by creating a password unique to edurooms or log in with Google, Microsoft, etc. You’ll use the same email address and password to log in to Rooms in the district app.
Step 4: You can access Rooms by tapping the Rooms icon in the bottom right corner of the app. Sign in with the email the invitation was sent to and the password you created and start using Rooms!
