SHS Students who have already received their Chromebook are asked to return it to the school for an update. Please return your Chromebook and all accessories (case/cord) so we can keep these together for each student. Thanks for your assistance.

The SD Department of Health is hosting a Back to School vaccination clinic at Sisseton Middle School on Monday, August 18, for any incoming 6th-grade student or any other student needing to complete updated school vaccinations. Students transferring into grades 7-12 who have not attended a public school in South Dakota must also meet South Dakota school-based immunization requirements.

The Volunteer Community Network (VCN) is holding two webinars on Internet Safety for Parents and Communities. This is presented by SAAG Toby Russell, South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation and South Dakota ICAC Task Force Commissioner. The presentation will cover various aspects of Internet Safety for parents and community members. The presentation will begin by reviewing the history of the South Dakota Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC)Task Force and will review statewide statistics regarding the efforts of the South Dakota ICAC Task Force. Next, the presentation will cover various risks that children face online. The remainder of the presentation will focus on various methods and techniques to connect, learn, and engage with your children regarding Internet Safety. In addition, there will be a discussion on parental monitoring applications and other preventative methods for parents. Two sessions are available: June 10 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. (Central Time) and June 12 from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. (Central Time). Please note that times on the attached sheets are listed in Eastern Time. Congratulations to Sisseton Girls Golfers who competed at the 2025 Girls State Golf Meet at Madison, SD June 2-3, 2025. Kenzley Heath placed 8th and Elliot Hortness placed 35th.

Sisseton Track Team heads to the State Track Meet in Sioux Falls. The 1600 M Medley Relay Team, 3200 M Relay Team, 3 Pole Vaulters, Javelin, 400 M Dash, 3200 M Run were the events our athletes qualified in.
