Students practiced speaking and listening standards with cowboy-themed pair share topics, tried out some language standards by learning about dialects and adages that were related to this topic, read a variety of cowboy books from the school library, line danced, gathered around the campfire, read Pecos Bill out loud fluently and determined what all of the exaggerated figurative language meant in the story, and were even treated to a visit from a few gentle horses outside school one morning!
A big thank-you goes out to the mom's and grandma who were after-school classroom helpers getting everything ready for a week of fun and learning!

Today we celebrate and thank our incredible SLPs for the vital role they play in helping students find their voices. Through your expertise, patience, and care, you support communication, build confidence, and open doors for student success both in and out of the classroom.
