Parents/Guardians: When picking up your students after school, please do not park on both sides of the street south of the middle school. Vehicles should only park westbound and exit out the street by the football stadium. Also, please do not diagonally cut across the parking lot. We want to keep traffic flowing and keep our students safe.

Students in Mr. Filipek's 7th grade math class learned about percent increase, decrease, and error through a free throw shooting activity. The class took two attempts at making a basket, and that data was recorded to determine if there was an increase or decrease in their accuracy. Students then used this to learn about and find the percent increase or decrease between their attempts. They also compared their results to the guess that was made to determine the percent error of the guess.

Cold and Flu Season
The sun may be shining and the temperature climbing, but please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the cold temperatures. When they walk out the door, make sure they have a coat, hat, and gloves. Having boots or at least closed shoes is also important. Spring will be here before we know it!
