The 6th grade class used their creativity to create a fall-tastic song in Chrome Music Lab Songmaker or by using the piano.
School pictures will be sent home with students today at Sisseton Middle School. Information for ordering more pictures is included in the packet. The South Dakota Services for the Deaf (SDSD) will conduct free hearing screenings at our school for grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, and 11th
This year, hearing screenings will take place November 7th, 2024
If your child does not pass the hearing screening, our facility will contact you with the results. Rescreens or further testing can be completed at no charge, with the pediatric audiologist at

Join the Sisseton Special Education Department for sessions presented by the South Dakota Parent Connection on Autism and Related Disorders. The sessions will be live-streamed in the Sisseton School District Multipurpose Room. All are welcome to attend.

There has been a change of schedule for the JH Volleyball game tonight against Waverly/South Shore. There is no 8th-grade game. 7th grade will play at 4:00 in the practice facility.

Today was the first staff Professional Development day within the school year. Content area staff met across all grade spans to discuss essential learning targets.
Additionally, 7-12 Special Education case managers met with representatives from SWO Vocational Rehabilitation Services, South Dakota VR, and the Transition Services Liaison Project to discuss resources and collaborate. Thank you for joining us today!
