
Sixth grade students learned about Dia de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) this month and made sugar skull designs to celebrate the Hispanic holiday! Students were encouraged to add symbols such as marigolds and butterflies, but also to make their design as unique as themselves. Great work 6th grade!

Learning about photosynthesis the fun way! Our 6th graders had fun discovering chlorophyll through a leaf rubbing activity.








Sisseton Middle School 8th graders, along with students from neighboring schools, recently took part in a Health Career Camp held in our practice facility — sponsored by IHS, CDP, SWO, and SWC. Students rotated through hands-on stations to explore careers in healthcare: performing mock dental procedures, practicing CPR and intubation, learning trauma care and lab science, and even stepping into a virtual hospital using VR goggles! The day gave students not only new skills, but also inspiration for future careers in healthcare.

Unfortunately, today's homecoming parade has been cancelled due to the weather. The homecoming football game is still scheduled for 7:00 p.m. tonight. 
Parents may still pick up MS/Elementary students before 2:40. If not picked up, students will still be dismissed this afternoon at 2:40 (HS/MS) and 2:50 (WS).
