4th Grade visited SWO Tribal Headquarters Wednesday, February 7. The students were greeted by Angeline Wanna, Arvella Wanna and Alayah LaFromboise. Angeline Wanna shared an excellent presentation from the archives room. Alayah and Arvella gave a tour of the building for the students and also taught the students color words in Dakota through a game opportunity. The students were also provided with a pizza lunch from the Tribal Education Department. Thank you to all that made this possible and especially to Dr. Johnson for coordinating this opportunity for our students. We look forward to our March visit with the second group of 4th Graders.

We are thrilled to have SHS learners interning at Westside this semester. The elementary students love to spend time learning from and with our high school students. It is a rewarding learning opportunity for both age levels.
