Parents: You can pay for student meals online through your Campus Parent account. You can access your Campus Parent account online or through the Campus Parent app. Options for recurring payments are available weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, or when your student has a low balance. There is a $10 minimum online payment. Our online payment vendor has recently changed, so any prior recurring payments will need to be updated.

Free and reduced meal applications are also found online (https://5il.co/1wojy) or available in any building office. You may drop these off at any of the office locations as well.

Families qualifying for Free/Reduced meals must complete and submit an updated 2026-27 Free and Reduced meal application. If a current, valid application is not on file, families are responsible for meal charges incurred until an application is approved and eligibility qualifications are met.

Sisseton School District staff celebrated the end of the school year and recognized staff members with 10, 20, and 30 years of service to the district, as well as those retiring from the Sisseton School District. Celebrations this week: Awards Day at Westside - We enjoyed seeing so many of you at school, the children sang, played instruments and we celebrated attendance, individual character awards, academic growth and excellence this year. Two students Vince Frace and Brielle Bartnick had perfect attendance this year without u any exempt days and were awarded the bike and helmet certificate from Patrick Ebert partnership with Horace Mann - Huge Accomplishment! Our living traffic cones showed up the last day of school - thank you to all that follow the procedures for safety each day from our crossing guards, no U-turns in front of the school, slow and sure, dropping off to the furthest place available and having students exit on the sidewalk side, driver remains in the vehicle to keep traffic moving forward during drop off and pick up times, and using the crosswalk:) these are all opportunities to teach our future drivers. Thank you. Fourth grade completed their final walk through, our students all visited an upcoming classroom the last day of school for what to expect in the upcoming grade. Students will learn their homeroom teacher at open house in August. Fourth graders had a tour of Sisseton Middle School and they learned so much: Clear, plastic water bottles only, and if wearing shorts or skirts (check if they are the length of your fingertips, no spaghetti straps - if in question that is the answer....great advice. They also learned there is an inside recess option and....they can go to the art room - many smiles :) Practice - padlock combinations this summer. Preschool had a final field day visit to Ethan and Adrienne Schmid ranch/hobby farm-all the smiles- best day ever always from this group! Our staff at the final drive by and wave to the buses and students! Thank you for an outstanding year as we get to invest in and for others each day. Keep Reading - the Public Library has a program for reading - make this is priority to continue what each learner has learned and mastered this year. Enjoy each moment!

Westside continues to celebrate small wins and big wins each day. This week we had field trips, teacher and nurses week,, rolls/coffee from ministerial, treats from SARSPA, delicious food catered and delivered by Carmela (thank you), several opportunities for additional recess time, students enjoying one another during morning meeting, we said thank you and Congratulations to senior Elliot Hortness, and a shout out to Mrs. Quade for the learning sessions this week and giving the kids shaker bottles and water bottles. More field trip photos to come!
