Westside K,1,2 Concert
The concert is 45 minutes - make plans to be present for the entire concert if attending.
Doors will open at 6:30pm.
Students are to be in their classroom areas at the Performing Arts Center with their teacher by 6:45pm.
Concert for Grades 3,4 is December 12 at 7:00pm

Every six months, we are required to ask for input on the Sisseton School District Safe Return to In-Person Instruction plan, as required by the US Department of Education. Westside K,1,2 Winter Concert November 30 7:00pm. K,1,2 students are to arrive by 6:45pm. All in attendance make plans to attend the entire concert. The students are performance ready to celebrate the season with you!

American Legion Auxiliary delivered dictionaries to 3rd Grade today! Thank you for your time with our students and for the dictionaries.

Each week 4th grade students join our local residents for BINGO! It's a memorable time for all!
Thankful and Grateful to all that make preparations for this to occur and support our students to get there each week!











We have had one class reach 20 days of PERFECT ATTENDANCE this year! ON TIME - ALL DAY!
Mrs. Veflin's class had their pizza party this week. They are well on their way to 30 perfect days - setting attendance goals with the principal and counselor for milestone celebration moments moving forward! Congratulations! We are proud of your attendance and look forward to the academic growth and achievement that comes with consistent attendance! Thank you parents/guardians for your support! We get to do this together all for our students each day!

Week one with our Artist Mark Zimmerman has been amazing for our learners. We look forward to next week with the artist as we all continue to practice our listening and drawing skills.






Friday Fourth Grade Community Visits this week!











We honored our Veteran's today! We started by singing at Tekakwitha and Edgewood. The Veterans joined us for lunch and shared with our learners about the flag and service to and for our country. The day ended with the Veteran's Convoy! It was an amazing day as we celebrated and honored our Veterans.

Westside welcomes Mark Zimmerman - South Dakota Artist in Residency November 6-17. Be sure to ask your children about what they are learning from drawing class.
