Thank you to all that make this possible, our fourth graders enjoy this time each week.
On 'Thankful Thursday' we are especially thankful and proud of our fourth graders. Today, these girls coordinated to wear their ribbon skirts together. They all shine bright each day!
Save the Dates: Join the Sisseton Special Education Department for sessions presented by the South Dakota Parent Connection on Autism and Related Disorders. The sessions will be live-streamed in the Sisseton School District Multipurpose Room. All are welcome to attend. The next session is November 18 from 4:15 - 5:15 p.m.
Elementary Christmas/Winter Concerts Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade - December 6 at 7pm 3rd Grade, 4th Grade - December 13 at 7pm Students are to arrive at 6:45pm Make plans to attend the entire concert as this values respect for all participants and the audience. Thank you.

It was an outstanding day at Westside today. Ms. Karen Abaquita's class under the direction of Miss Z our music teacher sang at Tekakwitha Living Center and Edgewood. Our local Veterans from Legion Auxiliary and VFW visited all classrooms today for a learning opportunity about flag etiquette, veterans and respect for our country. Our day concluded by waving the flags as the convoy drove by. Thank you for your service! #PublicSchoolProudofOurVeterans

Counselor Mrs. Ziemer celebrated her birthday this weekend. Ms. Joan's Junior Kindergarten created and left surprise birthday wishes in her office on Friday. We are thankful for the daily acts of kindness from caring students and staff at Westside.

A special shout out to our parents/guardians of this group of students. We hear every week how kind, caring and respectful they are. Thank you for raising them to be who they are. We all are daily amazed by them and are grateful for our time each day with them as a school family.

Calling ALL Parents/Guardians of Westside Students - Are you in regular communication with your child's teacher? Are you wondering how you can do this quickly from your phone/electronic device? Follow the directions from our school website and make sure the Apptegy App and 'Rooms' is set up for you. It is a communication program that provides a safe place for two way communication betwee the parent/guardian and the school.
