Harvest Celebration Day is in action at Westside! Our staff have prepared special around the table meal celebrations for social interaction, activities and have also dressed alike with their students! It is a day we look forward to create unique memories for a lifetime.











At Westside our school values are to be: Well Prepared, Always Safe, Value Respect and Eager to Learn. Our school will have a regular instructional school day Thursday, October 31 to honor and respect our youngest learners with consistency and structure. We have scheduled for our annual harvest day to be Friday, November 1 - classrooms will alert parents through 'Rooms' with specific details within their classroom (NO COSTUMES). We do have a hayride scheduled for grades 1-4 during non-instructional times. Thank you for your daily support to ensure your child is at school on time, all day everyday.

Attention Parents: UPCOMING HEARING SCREENING NOTIFICATION
The South Dakota Services for the Deaf (SDSD) will conduct free hearing screenings at our school for grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, and 11th
This year, hearing screenings will take place November 7th, 2024
If your child does not pass the hearing screening, our facility will contact you with the results. Rescreens or further testing can be completed at no charge, with the pediatric audiologist at

Westside's updated library is in use. The students are enjoying their new space. Today - Mrs. Hansen shared a story by Paul Goble and a an informative video of Brian Akipa. The learners loved this time of learning together.
