Attention Parents: UPCOMING HEARING SCREENING NOTIFICATION The South Dakota Services for the Deaf (SDSD) will conduct free hearing screenings at our school for grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, and 11th This year, hearing screenings will take place November 7th, 2024 If your child does not pass the hearing screening, our facility will contact you with the results. Rescreens or further testing can be completed at no charge, with the pediatric audiologist at South Dakota Services for the Deaf- Main Clinic 4101 W. 38th St Suite 101 Sioux Falls, SD 57106 PH: 605-367-5200 If you do NOT want your child to participate in the hearing screening, please contact your child’s school prior to the date listed above, or your child will be included as planned.

Today was the first staff Professional Development day within the school year. Content area staff met across all grade spans to discuss essential learning targets. Additionally, 7-12 Special Education case managers met with representatives from SWO Vocational Rehabilitation Services, South Dakota VR, and the Transition Services Liaison Project to discuss resources and collaborate.
